This book stirs up emotions I had long hidden away. That I had ran away from. Earlier this year the truth came out about my own abuse situation. This book really helped me deal with issues I had refused to admit to. For years i told myself that I was to blame, after reading this book, I see I’m not. I still not over it and not sure its something you ever get over. But reading Carolina’s statement in her mother’s book, reflects me and my feeling of determination. I have a new life and I am strong now.

This is a book that should be read by everyone. It will make you feel sick, angry, you will feel emotion like you have never felt before, it will bring on tears but if there is one book you should read in your life, I recommend this one.

My one wish: I wish I’d had someone like Ellen to stop what happened to me.

I found this book very good. It really opens up your eyes to the tragic lives of abuse! To read it from a mothers point of view as a mum myself i found it interesting to read about what they went through!
